My boyfriend and I decided to get away from busy Los Angeles and escape for our anniversary. We thought “Oh I’m not sure, would twenty-somethings really enjoy it here? Up in the mountain, and woods everywhere?”
We actually got this sweet deal on LivingSocial, and when we arrived to our beautiful precious studio cabin, we had a bottle of welcome champagne (Great choice, I might add). We had a great view of the little creek behind us, and it was so cold, we got to use the fireplace.
The owners weren’t around when we checked in, but they were so nice to let us know ahead of time. The cabins were freakin’ adorable. They have a BARN!  The barn is like a commons,  movies you can grab (it was Halloween weekend so we opted for Frankenstein) and a piano! My boyfriend really enjoyed that part.
I got an hour-long massage from their masseur, I think her name is Luciana and she worked me so well! We even had a yoga class in above the barn called Spa Casa (I think Mike the owner even joined in!).
It was pure bliss, and I love this place and I can’t wait to go back. We even played horseshoe! Who gets to play horseshoe these days?! The people running this place sure know what they are doing, and me and my boo LOVE LOVE LOVED it. Thanks for a perfect and pleasant weekend anniversary.
