We also had the Living Social deal. I’m so glad they advertised with LS because we had such an enjoyable stay! The staff is friendly and Jim was great about recommending some places to eat in town; even gave us a tip that Cafe Aroma has 1/2 price bottle of wine on Monday nights!
Luciana gave me a wonderful prenatal massage and I cannot say enough how amazing the CranioSacral therapy was! I didn’t even go in expecting to have that done, but after mentioning that I had been in a few rear-end car accidents in my life she really wanted to help me with that. WOW. My neck has not felt so fantastic since I can’t remember when! Highly, highly recommend making an appointment with her. Her prices are very reasonable, too. She is also the yoga instructor and we had a great yoga session with her, Jim, Mike and a few other regulars on Monday afternoon.
Loved the cabin. We stayed in a queen studio and it was just the right size. The heater kept us plenty warm. We enjoyed watching movies in the evening while having a little fire going in the fireplace. They have a large selection of DVDs (and VHS, ha!) and popcorn for guests in the barn’s guest lounge. During the day, we walked around the neighborhood and sat out on our cabin’s patio and read and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
The location is about a 5 minute drive from the center of town. I think it’s probably too far too walk. But the grounds are so beautiful and there are plenty of little spots to sit and enjoy them, including a collection of chairs and a picnic bench down by the creek!
The Living Social deal came with a little continental breakfast basket and the home made muffins were so tasty, the fruit was fresh and delicious and we enjoyed our complimentary Martinelli’s (instead of champagne) with that meal. Great way to end our relaxing stay.
I would absolutely recommend to friends and stay here again myself.
