Great value in a rustic setting
We were very pleased with our stay at the Cozy Hideaway for a romantic weekend. The cabin is located at the end of a short, gravel road that borders the San Jacinto National Forest. Also, there’s a fire road behind the house that we used as a hiking trail.
The house is quaint and decorated in a log cabin style. The kitchen/great room is the centerpiece of the house, and it’s complete with a wood-burning fireplace. The master bedroom and bathroom are okay (clean, but nothing special). The upstairs loft is cozy and its windows have nice views of the surrounding forest. It feels like a treehouse.
My only complaint is that the owners ask renters to do dishes (no dishwasher) and take out their garbage before leaving, two tasks that I don’t associate with a vacation.
However, the rental is total bargain. We paid $120/night for a property worth $200+/night. I would definitely come back
