An Idyllic Getaway
Lovely, secluded location on the creek, with wonderful amenities and much warmer and aesthetically pleasing that the photo suggests. The cabins are equipped with mountain getaway comforts and thoughtful additions. The only reason we rate location other than excellent is that it’s a bit of a walk into “town,” though for us that’s a plus. Maybe for you, too! Invited by printed message to visit the on site art gallery and perhaps enjoy a glass of wine, we were disappointed that wine was neither in sight nor offered, which is the only reason (perhaps petty) we downgraded the service a notch. In all other respects, the service is superior. The gallery does have an entertaining array of paintings, pots, jewelry etc. that will tempt you. “The Barn,” in addition to holding a wide selection of videos and Dvds, as well as beverages, offers a common area where couples traveling together can enjoy each other’s indoor company for conversation/games without intruding on each other’s cabin privacy. We really love this place and plan to return often.

Perfect for us
The cabin was exactly what I was looking for! Very clean and well-taken care of, while comfortable and woodsy. I came with two young kids for snow play and we had just the right amount of space indoors and plenty of space to play right outside. Loved that the fireplace came with logs! The kitchenette is very minimalist, but adequate. I packed food and we only ate out once.
It was a treat to have everything as expected, in great condition, and I appreciated Jim’s friendly guidance on where to eat and play.

Great value in a rustic setting
We were very pleased with our stay at the Cozy Hideaway for a romantic weekend. The cabin is located at the end of a short, gravel road that borders the San Jacinto National Forest. Also, there’s a fire road behind the house that we used as a hiking trail.
The house is quaint and decorated in a log cabin style. The kitchen/great room is the centerpiece of the house, and it’s complete with a wood-burning fireplace. The master bedroom and bathroom are okay (clean, but nothing special). The upstairs loft is cozy and its windows have nice views of the surrounding forest. It feels like a treehouse.
My only complaint is that the owners ask renters to do dishes (no dishwasher) and take out their garbage before leaving, two tasks that I don’t associate with a vacation.
However, the rental is total bargain. We paid $120/night for a property worth $200+/night. I would definitely come back

A great stay at Twin Tree
Thanks so much, we will definitey be back. The house was cozy, the snow was enchanting, and the spa was soothing. Thanks for the invitation to attend the art show at your offices and thanks for the coupon to the natural foods store. We will spread the word about your business.

Unforgettable
We’ve been renting cabins/homes thru Quiet Creek Inn for many years now and every experience has been wonderful. Jim and Mike are delightful and always give us helpful tips and information for our stay. The rental homes have always been clean, cozy and very welcoming. If you’re going to stay in Idyllwild then Quiet Creek Inn is a must. It’s such a great and memorable experience. Happy relaxing!

The most pleasant experience we’ve had in a long time
We can’t say enough good things about the Quiet Creek Inn. Our cabin was perfect. The location on Strawberry Creek is better than any others we saw while we were in town. Quiet Creek was the only lodging that waived the usual ‘2-night minimum stay’ so that we could have a short, romantic getaway from San Diego. My other half is a Navy Chief and his schedule just didn’t allow us to book 2 nights. We are so impressed with this place that we will tell ALL our friends and will definitely be back!! There is just nothing they can do to make it better – we LOVED it!!

Hi Jim!
My friend Maria recently stayed in one of your cabins, and I just wanted to say thank you for making her trip so wonderful. She said that you took a lot of time to answer her questions and found her just the right place with the snow and all. She loved the cabin and had so many nice things to say about you. Thanks again!
Peace!
Julie
