We loved this rental and can’t wait to come back. The view great, the home great, the bed great, the furniture great, everything great. The one and only thing is we were there when it was hot and they need more fans that you can move from room to room. We had a great time there, beautifully decorated. Everything was there, all we needed to bring was ourselves and food and drinks and camara.

Everything was prefect from the Cabin to the snacks and Squrils lol. You have to stay to understand that comment. I have told everyone about this well kept secret in the woods. I hope it helps your business. Thanks .

I chose Idyllwild and The Quiet Creek Inn for my wedding on august 12, 2010. The Inn is the first place we stayed when we discovered IDY six years ago. We had a perfectly magical ceremony by Strawberry Creek and my new husband and I stayed at the Inn that evening. The days leading up to our wedding and the remaining days of our stay were at Winston’s Retreat. It was perfect for my family and friends…wedding central! Only a stone’s throw from the Inn! My Bff’s, my brother, my sister in law, and my soon to be Mother in Law and Sister in Law were all under one roof for the event, which was perfect! We thought we might need the 2 kitchens, but found one was enough. The wrap around porch was my favorite feature of the house. My dog came and she was not a fan of the spiral staircase, so she remained on the main floor entrance. The pool table was a hit with the guys and there was this cool lamp feature above the fireplace that made us think of Disneyland. Winston’s Retreat is perfect for a large group!

My high school friends and I gather every year to celebrate life and share stories. We chose Bella Luna because I love Idyllwild and I know the owner of this wonderful house. It was a huge hit with my friends. It was clean and spacious, with a wonderful deck for socializing. We paid for three nights, and it was a great value for us.

I was looking for a place in Idyllwild where my 87 year old, very active, mother could enjoy the smell of the forest, the clean air, and the quiet peace of the country.
The website looked good so I tried it.
We had a wonderful time. Every detail was thought of. Someone knows what they’re doing.

We were only able to stay one night, but we really enjoyed the room, the grounds and the welcome we got from the hosts. We wanted to watch the meteor shower the night we arrived, and they went out of their way to find locations where we could go that didn’t have much extra light. They had a map with detailed instructions for our options in our room when we arrived, and chairs for us to use so that we wouldn’t have to sit on the ground. We ended up enjoying the show with a lot of locals.
The room was very clean and well-decorated, and the grounds are charming. I’m looking forward to going back and enjoying a longer stay.

I have come to Idyllwild for 10 years or so, and have always stayed at the Quiet Creek Inn. It was adequate before, but in recent years with Jim and Mike at the helm, the bar has been raised. Tastefully decorated and yet cozy. Comfortable, quality linens. Amenities like Wolfgang Puck coffee; very clean, friendly service. I come to write, and the Quiet Creek provides me with the solitude I need for the creative juices to flow, but with the assurance of having managers on-site.

Can’t wait to go back. Beautiful property. Very clean “cabin” with everything to make you feel at home. Jim and Mike and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at Quiet Creek Inn, and we were very happy with our very clean and nicely decorated cabin. You could tell that a lot of attention had gone into decorating it. Other nice touches included the common room “the barn” with a computer, telephone, and refrigerator stocked with cold sodas and water. The owners are on the premises full time and are fully involved in running the inn, which is a big plus.
