By far the best place to stay in town. Clean, quaint, private… perfect! I refuse to stay anywhere else. The only problem we had was finding the extra fire log…. it was in he porch closet…. Visit the quite creek inn for the weekend and you will come home rejuvenated and completely satisfied!

My husband & I stay up here every year for the New Years Holiday. We have always enjoyed the beauty & peacefullness this place has to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away & truely enjoy themselves.

We have been coming up to the Quiet Creek Inn over the last couple of years. We enjoy the different seasons up in the mountains, in the winter we come up for the fresh beautiful snow fall. Like this year it was totally awesome, we were able to take our 5 year old granddaughter right out our door and take her sledding, and come back into our cabin and have some hot chocolate and enjoy a fire in the fire place. One of our favorite times is to come up in the spring and lounge right by the creek below your cabin deck. Its so peaceful to just sit there and here the rushing creek, with the soft breeze and butterflys twirling through the air between all the wild flowers. Got a love it and we do.

The house is beautiful, tasteful and serene. It’s close enough to the main village to be convenient but because it’s tucked away in the trees it seems completely secluded. We booked the house through the Quiet Creek Inn and they were incredibly helpful, pleasant and efficient. A tremendous experience.

Quiet Creek Inn came recommended to me, and I understand why. A beautiful setting with a studio room that felt like I was staying in someone’s home. During the night an inch or so of wet snow fell and, as I left my room to attend a meeting at nearby Idyllwild Arts, I was pleasantly surprised to find a snow brush/ice scrapper on my front porch. A thoughtful and appreciated touch.

Wow, this was the best cabin experience we have ever had – EVER! Starting first with customer service. Jim and Mike were fabulous and friendly in recommending Edelweiss. There was still ample snow on the ground, plenty for sledding. The cabin has a large fenced off backyard perfect for snow play and dogs. Our labradoodle loved playing in the snow and we didn’t have to worry about her running off since the yard was fenced. The cabin is in a wonderful neighborhood high up near Humber Park. The street has beautiful mountain homes. The cabin itself was very, very clean and the grounds very well maintained. Everything we needed was provided! The cabin is very much a log cabin with wilderness decor. It is so beautiful and cozy. The attention to detail and craftsmanship showed. Lots of love built into this home. The beds were great and the sheets soft. What I loved the most was the yard, we didn’t have to drive to find snow, and the fact that there was a dryer was key! I would say my only tiny critique would be that there is not a door to the master suite which is next to the TV room. The kids got up early to watch TV each morning, making it tough for adults to sleep in after a day of sledding. However, when you are staying in a gorgeous cabin, who cares, we would come back in a heartbeat and will refer to all of our friends! Thanks Mike and Jim

Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven called “Serenity Cabin.” We have thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here – hiking, eating, playing games and listening to the wild and stormy weather whilst snug and warm in Serenity.
We had a wonderful time watching the flames in the fireplace, making smores, and drinking hot chocolate as the rain and hail and wind whistled around the house.
Thanks again for a relaxing time away from the “rat race.” John, Fran, Luke (11), Brian (7) Irvine, CA

I enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this lovely cabin, nestled in the pines with the sounds of soothing Strawberry creek. The unit had everything I needed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating. I would definitely recommend Quiet Creek to anyone who is looking for a rejuvinating and healing experience.

Great place to escape. Being in the mountains, listening to the creek behind our studio room and all the great ammenities that Quiet Creek provides. The rooms are wonderful, romantic with a big fireplace, complementary fire logs, movies to watch and even popcorn. Idyllwild is a great town to explore, hiking around is wonderful and the people are so nice. Hosts of Quiet Creek really do provide a wonderful place to stay!
