Perfect quiet clean cozy group of cabins on a creekbed – 5 min drive to town. Lots of squirrels and Stellar’s Jays flying around, we fed them raw peanuts in the shell right off our lovely deck. We went for nature and hiking and there was plenty right there on property. We hiked the Ernie Maxwell trail at the recommendation of Jim and it was perfect, he also provided a free “Wilderness Pass” that is required on your car to park at the trailhead – about 15 min drive to trailhead. We also drove around the mountain and east on 10 to 111 to get to the Palm Spings Tram up to the top of San Jacinto – we thought that was very cool as well. Perfect stay – lots of great places to eat in town. Bread Basket for breakfast and Cafe Aroma for dinner were our favorites. Everything was just perfect! Fireplace and wood are provided for cozy evenings. A common area on site has a piano and kitchenette. For the romantic, a few of the rooms have hot tubs in them.
