My mom and I went up in mid-June midweek (after seeing a story about the Inn in Sunset magazine) during the week and had an excellent stay. The property is out of the way (while still being a short drive from town) and very quiet. We bot like to relax and read, so the quiet was much appreciated. The cabins are decorated very nicely with a lot of extra touches and the private deck was great. The grounds are very pretty and there are squirrels and birds in abundance (it is a certified National Wildlife Foundation habitat and a member of Green Hotels). The lounge in the barn has teas, coffees, games, movies, whatever you need to occupy your time. The cabins have mini-fridges, microwaves, dishes and silverware – even wine glasses and a corkscrew. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back.
