An oasis in the mountains

Jim was very cordial in his reception of my son and me upon our Thanksgiving Day arrival. He had maps of the area, suggestions of activities in the area, and coupons for a few businesses. The artist’s Loft was clean, pleasing to the eye and fully met our needs during our stay. We were able to cook a wonderful holiday meal in a very relaxed, home atmosphere. I especially loved the green tiled bathroom, since colors can be recreative for me. The setting of the cabin includes a palatial rock that was a glacial gift at some point in our past millenia, as well as some mature pine trees. These beings gave a sense of strong, earthen companionship. I enjoyed being a ten minute drive to Humbar Park and a short drive to the Village Center for groceries, firewood and movies. There is not one “best” element or “least liked” element of our stay and accomodations. It was all of a piece and is woven into the treasured memory of spending Thanksgiving with my son.

We had a beautiful stay!

Everything was cozy, comfortable, & beautiful. The late night sky was filled with stars. The Saturday morning yoga class was great. Michael was a terrific host and very helpful and kind. The grounds were humble and lovely. The sound of the creek was relaxing and a joy. We loved our stay!

Comfy, Cozy, love the creek view and sounds

There were just two of us and the studio was comfortable,cozy and all the necessities; with coffee pot, microwave, fireplace,(logs provided), the beds were pretty comfy also (not always the case). Did I mention the balcony and the creek view and relaxing forest water sounds…Loved it. Thank you for your hospitality!

overnight at the Quiet Creek Inn

We had a wonderful time. The stay was beautiful! We were very comfortable in the cabin and we enjoyed walking on the property during and after our stay. The hosts were gracious enough to invite us to come back after lunch, which was after we checked out and continue our walk by the creek and in the big trees. We will definitely come back.

Bliss in the mountain air

We have been coming to Quiet Creek Inn for nearly 25 years. As always, the accommodations are clean, very comfortable, and cozy.
We have been coming here through three sets of owners; the current owner is warm and friendly. He isn’t ‘in’ your weekend away – yet, he is a part of it. His restaurant recommendations are right on target and he has a real feel for relating well to people.

Peaceful pampering…

Very clean and modern with lots of personal touches. Views are amazing. Very peaceful retreat. You feel like you are the only ones there and yet feel pampered!

Thanks Jim for rescuing us from the cabin we almost stayed at with another agency. This totally met and exceeded our expectations. From now on we will stick with you guys!

Great, small cabin

We loved this cozy cabin. It is perfect for a family of 4. It is much smaller than it looks in the photos, but it was fine with us. It has a brook house for relaxing by the creek, which is a nice feature.
