Quiet Creek Innardee77 Iowa Jun 19, 2008 View out the back, toward the creek. You can hear happily babbling away.View of some of the cabins at Quiet Creek InnI only stayed at the Inn one night, but sure wish I had a lot more time. I stumbled into the Inn while looking for a place to stay in Idyllwild. Fortunately, the inn keepers had a studio available so I grabbed it. Beautiful room, great view out the back. They have a guest lounge in another building with a wide selection of tapes and DVDs, plus a desktop computer which guests may use (tho there is wi fi throughout the property) and a phone where guests may make long distance calls, no problem. Pop and other goodies in the fridge if you want.. Leave a buck in the tin on top of the fridge. It's the honor system ! It is sooo peaceful. The innkeepers are great, and will provide you with info on the town, its restaurants and directions from Mapquest if you need them. I kept eyeing the hammock down by the Creek, but didn't have time to use it. They have a convenient calendar on their web site, so you can easily check availability. Only problem - the Inn books up during the Idyllwild Arts Academy summer sessions, so book early ! I don't know why, but Idyllwild reminds me of the town in the TV series "Northern Exposure", but I digress. The Quiet Creek Inn is a great place. Enjoy. The following letter was sent to Idyllwild Life Magazine from the winners of their "Discover Idyllwild" contest:"I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you...we had a fabulous time on our 2 nd Honeymoon! Quiet Creek Inn will be our new go-to hotel in Idyllwild - the innkeepers were very hospitable and the rooms are extremely clean and quaint. I loved to go out onto the balcony and watch the creek while I had my breakfast. The massage was fabulous! We both agreed it was the best we've ever had, hands down ... Ginger truly has magic hands! Thanks so much for our relaxing holiday! Christine & Stuart" --Winners, Idyllwild Life Magazine Contest--

Quiet Creek Innjunesister Huntington Beach Apr 23, 2008 Quiet Creek Inn, just about a mile from the village of Idyllwild, was just what I was looking for in an easy mountain getaway from Orange County. The inns' suites are secluded among the pines, back from the main highway, with private decks overlooking Strawberry Creek. There are 12 suites in 6 duplex units, surrounding a landscaped lawn area with horsehoes, hammocks and lounge chairs under the Pines. Our Queen suite included a separate living area with small kitchenette --big enough for making breakfasts and lunches, which we ate sitting on our deck or creekside. Furnishings are contemporary western and the units are well maintained. It's an easy 15-minute walk or mile or so drive into the village for dinner. Owners provide a good list with dining recommendations, an Adventure Pass and maps if you're going hiking, and a fine library of DVD's, videos and games in the community barn or rec room. Staff are friendly and helpful. I'll be back.
